Things start to deteriorate. Politics, culture, history, egocentrism...
Only one result: innocent people will suffer. The worst is that many of us don't have a clue on what this conflict is all about. At least we can care!

These are a few words written by a friend of mine from Lebanon, a fellow 2006 picteist:

" don't know if you're seeing anything, but the situation here is beyond description, people are dying by dozens everyday: innocent civilians trying to escape the line of fire after being told to evacuate their towns and villages in the worst conditions since every major road and bridge has been already bombed .
Chemical weapons are being used and people are literally melting down! today it happened in the prot of Beyrouth."

Lucrurile incep sa se deterioreze. Politica, istorie, cultura, egocentrism....
Rezultatul e simplu: oameni nevinovati ajung sa sufere. Cel mai rau este ca multi nu au nici cea mai mica idee despre originile acestui conflict. Cel putin ne poate pasa!

I've seen that there are a few people reading this post. For them, and for anybody interested, i'll post more lines from my friend Magida. She wrote me again today..

"today a residential building was bombed in a village called srifa and about 25 victims are still under the rocks and no one, not even the lebanese red cross can go there and pull them out.people of the village are sending messages or let me say cries for help through T V stations and no one can do anything for them."
